Volunteer of the Month

March 2020 Volunteer of the Month - Tony

This month we are recognizing Tony as our volunteer of the month. He hasn’t been with us too long, but he jumped right in and has been a big help to our organization. Tony started with us as a short-term foster by caring for dogs when other foster had to go out of town, but has now progressed to his first full-time foster pup with Ruger. He has also done loads of document scanning, repaired a high-impact crate he found online and saved us a bunch of money, and often helps out with events.

Tony is toolmaker, turned engineer, but unfortunately lost his job after a minor stroke and is now searching for a new job in the manufacturing, mechanical, or design engineering world. During his period of unemployment, he decided volunteering for Paw Patrol would be his way of doing something useful while getting his “dog fix”. As soon as he finds his next job, he hopes to adopt a new furry family member of his own, after losing his dog about two years ago to a tumor. We are very happy to have Tony in the Paw Patrol family!
