December 2025 Volunteer of the Month - Mary Cain
For the final month of the year, we want to give a huge shout out to Mary, our volunteer of the month. During a time that causes us to be thankful for our blessings, we stop and reflect on how grateful we are for people like Mary, who choose to spend their time helping homeless animals find their new families! Read a bit about Mary in her own words:
“Hi! I'm Mary. I'm from Eaton, Ohio. I've worked in the Corrugated Industry for the last 12 years. When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my 9-year-old daughter, Rylee, and my fiancé, Bryan. I've been an avid dog lover my entire life, but overall, just an animal lover. I was lucky enough to inherit 3 cats when I met Bryan, (Roxy, Nova and Ovie), added to my Golden Retriever, Callie. We've also recently adopted a sweet orange boy, Loki. So, we've got our own little zoo that keeps us very entertained! I finally picked up a DSLR camera a few months ago and pursued my passion of photography, as a hobby. (I love animals so much, I even named my Photography page Pink Hippo Photography)
I've followed Paw Patrol for a long time, loving the work that you all do and of course, wishing I could adopt each one of their sweet faces. I happened to stumble upon a post from Paw Patrol in need of volunteers to photograph animals. What better way to volunteer my time and mesh two of my biggest loves?! Animals and photography? SIGN. ME. UP! It's inspiring to see these babies loved and given new chance at life. I'm happy to be a small part of it, happy to lend my eye for photography and Excel skills and get to love on the sweet souls I do get to meet. My daughter has found great joy in volunteering with me and offering to take them all home with us, too! Thank you for having me!”
Thank you, Mary, for all you do to help the animals!
