November 2025 Volunteer of the Month - Holly Bushman
Holly is a long-time volunteer who not only fosters small dogs and the occasional kitty, but also has processed adoption applications for years. This is a tedious and stressful volunteer position and she has done it with professionalism and patience. Read a bit about Holly and why she volunteers her time to help animals in need here:
“Basically, I foster because these dogs deserve a home. I have my two furever dogs because of people who stepped up and fostered them when they needed to be pulled from shelters. I want to do for other dogs what was done for my dogs. Since I don't have a fenced backyard, I have to walk the dogs I foster, so my physical activity has increased and my health has improved.
They also like to “help” me feed my reptiles. I encourage people to foster. Yes, you'll get attached, but you will save a life.”
