Volunteer of the Month

February 2022 Volunteer of the Month - Barbara

This month we want to say a big thank you to Barbara for hearing about a need in the community and taking action to get involved and make a difference. Barbara jumped right in to take on a special needs foster and helps out with other various tasks whenever she can. A little bit about Barbara in her own words:

I started fostering for Paw Patrol Dayton after watching a live video by Brandi, the director, appealing to people wanting to help dogs and cats in our area that were in need of fostering. Originally my thought was to adopt but after watching the video it made me realize I could help more by fostering. My first foster dog had many health issues as he had been picked up as a stray. He was fully vetted to address all issues. Then it was my turn to get him ready for his forever home. It is so great to be a part of this wonderful organization that truly cares. Love and patience are key and they truly are worthy of what we give as they give so much more to us.

Thank you so much, Barbara, for all you do!
