Volunteers of the Month

March 2023 Volunteer of the Month - Brandye & Chris

Brandye and Chris are Paw Patrol’s March volunteers of the month. They are previous adopters and in the past year, decided it was time to do even more! They have fostered lots of dogs, helped out with admin tasks, and can often be found at the events we have.

Brandye: I am a Procurement Buyer at Honeywell in Urbana. Procurement and Logistics has been my chosen career path for over 17 years. I enjoy spending time with family and friends around the table playing cards, or outside around a bonfire. My alone time is usually spent doing yard work and gardening during the sunny summer days. I have always loved animals and want to help as many as I can.

Chris: I am a locomotive engineer for Norfolk southern railroad for 24 years, I love to bicycle, hike, and movie time. I will develop more hobbies when I fully retire soon but for now the puppies we help is fulfilling enough and we hope to continue to help as many as we can.

We are happy to have received the award of volunteer of the month for March 2023 from Paw Patrol of Dayton. We first adopted ZaZu (now Penny) in 2020 from PPD. Then in 2021 we bought our own home. After buying our home in Fairborn we decided to start fostering and volunteering for PPD to help with their efforts to better the lives of the overwhelming amount of dogs and cats in need.

We are very lucky to have a wonderful pack of 4 pups of our own. They all are playing their part in helping us with fostering. They teach the newbies the ropes and are very gentle and respectful of them.

Thank you both so much for all you do!
