Volunteer of the Month

November 2022 Volunteer of the Month - Nicole

This month we take the time to give thanks to Nicole, our volunteer of the month. A bit about Nicole, in her own words, can be seen here:

"Hi, I'm Nicole and I am a somewhat newer volunteer here at Paw Patrol. I previously fostered for another local rescue a few years back. I enjoy working with the dogs and seeing the progress they make after rescuing them from the shelters. Every dog deserves a chance at their forever home, so I’m glad that I can help some get that chance that they might not otherwise get.

I have 2 fur babies myself, Copper and Todd- both of which were adopted from Paw Patrol. They got their names from Disney's Fox and the Hound. In my full time job, I work as a Psychiatric RN / Supervisor at a local Mental Health hospital. I’m a strong mental health and substance abuse advocate in the community and think the best companion that you can have is a dog. They will love you and be there with you unconditionally no matter what. During my off time, I enjoy spending time with family, camping, hiking, and boating."

Thank you so much for dedicating your time and energy to help pups who otherwise may not have a chance. We truly appreciate your efforts!
