September 2026 Volunteer of the Month - Kristie Dinh

We hope you will join us in saying a huge thank you to Kristie, our September volunteer of the month. Kristie adopted her kitty from us a few years ago and when she was ready, she made the leap to volunteering and fostering! Along with fostering, Kristie helps with various volunteer activities, like transport and helping maintain the catio we have at a memory care facility. Read a bit about Kristie and why she decided to get involved:

“Hi! My name is Kristie, and I work as an embryologist. I live with my fiancé Jacob, our 3 rescue cats — Thomas, Kylo, and Marilynn —, and our current foster boy, Casper. (Go check out his page!) When it came time for me to adopt my first cat, I knew I would have a hard time deciding. I browsed for a while…and then stumbled across Paw Patrol's ad for Thomas. I immediately fell in love. Soon after, I met Ricki, his foster mom (and now, my amazing mentor!). For several weeks, I went to her house and sat in her laundry room with him. I wanted to make sure he was the right fit for me, and that I was the right fit for him. I started to watch him open up, and when he finally did, I brought him home. I will forever be grateful to Ricki for giving me my perfect tri-pawd boy. I foster because every cat deserves to find their forever family. I foster in honor of Thomas, because I wouldn't have him if not for Paw Patrol Dayton. I am also so grateful for my sweet fiancé Jacob, who continuously supports me and loves our fosters as much as I do. For us, the most fulfilling part of fostering is getting to be a stepping stone on these kitties’ journey to a life full of love.”
